Fun Fact: Winter squash are called pumpkins in New Zealand and Australian English. The term "pumpkin" generally refers to the broader category of "winter squash".

Sweet Dumplings live up to their name as being sweet. Great for roasting, single serve side, and perfect for stuffing!

Sweet dumplings are attractive either served up on the plate or in a bowl on the kitchen bench.

Preparation and growing conditions: Rich, well-draining soil. Full sun.

Sowing: 15mm deep at 100 cm apart

Climate: 15-30 degrees. Not frost tolerant.

Companion Plants: Peas, Beans, Sunflower, Cabbage, Eggplant, Sweet Corn, Radish, Tomatoes and Cucumber.

Avoid Planting with: Potato, Beetroot and Onion.

Fertiliser and feeding: Well prepared, fertile soil should be enough.

Germination: 5-10 days

Harvesting: 10 - 15 weeks - when stems become woody.

Minimum of 10 seeds per pack. Beautifully packaged in a resealable, Ziplock packaging, designed to keep seeds fresh and out of the light.
