Organic Dwarf Bean - Tendergreen Seeds (Phaseolus vulgaris) - Harvested and Packaged locally from our own garden.
Fun Fact: These little cuties are perfect for the small apartment, balcony, or anywhere where you have limited gardening space. They are compact and don't need a trellis to grow along as they only grow to 50cm. Tendergreens are tender and juicy; hence the name and one plant will produce many beans! Another bonus to this beauty is they are virtually stringless, so no fiddly bean stringing.
Preparation and growing conditions: Well draining soil. Avoid frost and strong wind.
Sowing: 25 - 30cm deep - 50cm apart
Climate: Full sun, water regularly.
Companion Plants: Carrot, Marigolds, Brassica family, Potatoes, Eggplant, Parsley, Celery, Lettuce, Cucumber and Peas and Parsnip.
Avoid Planting with: Garlic, Onions, Chives, Beetroot and Sunflowers.
Fertiliser and feeding: Add mulch when seedlings are established.
Germination: 5 - 14 days.
Harvesting: 8 - 10 weeks. Harvest early and regularly to encourage better yields.
Storage: Refrigerate in a perforated plastic bag in the crisper section
Minimum of 20 seeds per pack. Beautifully packaged in resealable, lightproof Ziplock packaging, designed to keep seeds fresh.
Can post Australia wide.
